shades of retrospective

I could still recap the models with white-make up faces who wear controversial asymmetrical-designed pieces shown up in the public.
there are much screaming in and out of this creative and talented designer, Yohji Yamamoto.

 A retrospective exhibition which showcase the unique design/uses of fabrics and his white wedding dresses Autumn/Winter 1998 collection will be held at Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

this fantastic exhibition will be held from

* 12th March - 10th July 2011 at the V&A, London ('Yohji Yamamoto exhibition')
* 12th March – 14th July 2011 at The Wapping Project, London (‘Yohji Making Waves’)
* 12th March – 14th May 2011 at The Wapping Project Bankside, London (‘Yohji’s Women’)

instead of commemoration for his 30th anniversary debut in Paris, this exhibition would bring the visitors to get close with his incredible design and uses of fabrics.

the exhibition space is entirely open and the visitors who could walking around to observe his design collection freely, it's make the exhibition not-too-boring.

besides, the other extension show held at the Wapping Bankside, with lots of photographic collaboration and present the singular garment of Yohji Yamamoto's design.
Visitors could get touch with his design in the way of much more impressive.

take a look the interview between Victoria&Albert exhibition's curator, Ligaya Salazar and DazedDigital to get know more about how the exhibition being held.
